Fagradalsfjall – The active Volcano

The active Volcano in Iceland in Geldingadalir and Fagradalsfjall mountain in Reykjanes peninsula has now erupt after 6000 years resting with the first volcanic activity in 781 years on the Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland.

Here below you can find live feed from the eruption at the Geldingadalir volcano in Fagradalsfjall on the Reykjanes Peninsula.  The new lava field has been officially named Fagradalshraun.  After being dormant for almost 6000 years, the eruption of the Geldingadalir volcano started on March 19, 2021 .
